I wanted to get some opinions on in invitation dilemma I'm running into. I just started a 2-year psychology internship (full-time) in September and I'm getting married in May. There are 8 interns (including me) at my placement, but only 2 with me at my exact location. All 8 of us are together twice a week for seminars, but I'm with the 2 in my location every day. I'm growing pretty close with everyone, but especially close with the 2 who I'm with every day. I am somewhat limited on my invitation list (mainly b/c of money), so I'm not sure what to do here. Every one of the interns is married, engaged, or in a long-term relationship, so it's all couples.
Do I invite all 7 interns (14 people). Do I invite just the 2 I'm closer with (4 people). Do I invite no one.
To me, it makes sense and is logical that I would invite just the two, but I can't guarantee that the other 5 would see it that way. I just don't know. So, your opinions would be helpful. Thanks!

IMO you should just invite the 2 you are close to. The others will have to understand that you can't invite everyone ........

Invite the two you're closest with, the others I'm sure will understand, you mentioned that a few of them are married or engaged so I'm sure they're sympathetic to the whole expense of a wedding.

I would invite just the 2 also. Maybe you could explain to them that you can't invite that many people and then maybe they'll know to not discuss it at length w/ the other 5. You should invite the people you feel comfortable, and people that you see yourself being friends w/ in the future.

I would wait and see since your invites do not need to go out until mid April for 6 week response time to see how you feel about everyone then. do not send them STDs just keep them all on a maybe list and see how you feel come March.

The 2 interns I'm with every day dont just invite people because you feel that you should invite them because you want them to be a part of your special day

i think the two and if you get some nos then invite the others
tell the two not to mention the invitation to the other 5
or
if you hang with any of them outside of school, invite those you hang out with like that and leave it at that
