Who to invite to the rehearsal dinner?

I'm starting to look at restaurants for the rehearsal dinner soon and I have a question about the guestlist that I'm hoping u girls could give me some insight on. Who exactly are u inviting to the dinner besides the bridal party and their guests? I'm debating whether I should invite all my aunts and uncles but I think it might be weird for them to sit through a rehearsal at Church. Then again if I only invite the aunts and uncles who have kids in the wedding I'm afraid that the ones who don't get invited might get offended. Sorry of this is a lil confusing

We're having the bridal party and their significant others, grandparents, parents of the flowergirls, and my aunt and uncle of my cousin who is in the wedding, and the readers and musicians.

i'm inviting immed family, BP, and close out-of-towners -- so aunts, uncles that FH and I are close with.

I'm doing the same thing right now. My mom wants her siblings and their children to be invited so I almost fell over when I counted up the people on the list.

I'm going to put the time that the dinner starts on the invites so those people who aren't actually involved in the rehearsal can just meet us there instead of sitting at the rehearsal itself.

Santina I've been thinking the same thing

We will be inviting some aunts and uncles because their children are in the wedding....but we don't want the others to feel left out.

We also wanted to invited some out of towners that we are close to.

I guess we can tell them just when the dinner is so they don't have to be bore at church.

But it turns out there will be more people at the rehearsal dinner than originally intended

We are inviting the wedding party, immediate family & out of town guests...which pretty much means half the damn wedding, since ALL of FH's family is OOT!!!
