Re: Who told me about threading at Ulta in MERRICK?
I know I posted about it either Fri or Sat night....but I only knew because someone else mentioned someone at Ulta3 did it a few weeks ago.
Thank you - but I already go to someone so if I was one of the people, someone can take my place!

Ok, so I feel kind of stupid, but what is the difference between threading & waxing? Does the threading make them look better? Maybe I'll try it! Thanks!!!

Re: Who told me about threading at Ulta in MERRICK?
Suzanne - how much do they charge?
When I moved to the area - I asked the previous owner if there was any threading in the area and she thought they did it but you are the first person I know that got them done there. I usually go in the city after work or on my lunch hour...but would love a backup place close to home. If I do go, I will say your name!!
Jess2- have you done waxing before? Waxing is hot wax - cloth strip and rip. Threading uses thread to kind of tweeze your eyebrows. I find they have more control over what they take off therefore you can get a better shape.

Hey Niecey, I loved it.. my brows are thin and waxing never gives them any arch.. She gave me an arch and my face was not all swollen for 2 days!!!
I highly reccomend it!!!

Re: Who told me about threading at Ulta in MERRICK?
Jess, when I wax I get so swollen and bumpy I actually look like rocky dennis from mask.. its terrible, i have to go home and put ice packs on my face... with the threading there was a little swelling and redness for like about 2 hours and then i was good to go!!!
I love it!!

Re: Who told me about threading at Ulta in MERRICK?
I have to say I do get more red from threading but I still prefer it and I think it really depends on the person doing the threading (my eyes are very senstitive). The The first timeis always the worst....as I go more and more, the red lasts less but my eyes still tear like crazy. I usually have to take a break in the middle and one eye is definitely more sensitive than others (but I injured this eye a long time ago and it occasionally gives me problems).

Suzanne - YOU CRACK ME UP!!!
I have a whole routine I do when I get waxed. Since I go different places depending where I am (Long island when I'm by my folks, sometimes this place near our apartment in Jersey) I have to tell them that I have very sensitive skin, I get red easily so to be as gentle as possible. But when I get waxed they always tweese too which hurts alot. So this may be better. I probably have to let them grow out a little before I go get them threaded though I guess.
