Save the Date Cards? When did you send them out? I am at 9 mos. to my wedding, is it too late or too early to send them? I want to make something up to send to Out of Town Guests so they can start booking the hotel rooms I have blocked and so they can start looking into flights. Any Ideas?

I did STD. I used magnets from thefavorlady.com(they are terrific) & I also include a card with a poem my mom wrote & a leetter with hotel & travel info. I sent them out in Feb. for my Oct. wedding. I think your right on time to send them out!

I sent mines out 8 months prior. I hand made my magnets and cards.

i sent mine out 1 year in advance but only because my wedding was originally scheduled for a holiday weekend

I did STD Magnets ( I made them myself) and I mailed them out 7 months ahead of time.

How did everyone make them? Where do they sell the stuff for them?
I am getting married in Sept and sent them out in February along with information about the hotels I blocked for out of town guests. I ordered STD Magnets and got them from www.ittybittyink.com and they came out fabulous! They were able to customize the background to fit my color scheme.
Sorry it's so big, I haven't learned how to shrink the size yet!
I sent them out 1 year in advance because our wedding is around the holidays.

I sent out STD magnets with my XMAS cards this year. My wedding is in June , so I sent them out 6 months prior. I also included a card from the hotel where I booked rooms for my guests.
