Who uses Ortho Evra??

Who uses Ortho Evra??

I started yesterday and I am scared the patch is going to come off.

I was on teh pill, was there any side effects from switching, like when you first started the pill.

I had a bad reaction when I started the pill, and it went away after a few months, but I was wondering if I will get them back.

the patch will NOT come off...i think they say 2 % of the time...


it NEVER happened with me


you will not get the upset tummy side effects...or at least I didn't...

I just finished my first month and had the same concerns as you. I was very pleased with it and can't imagine going back to the pill! No side affects at all.

I have heard that one of the side effects is weight gain. Has anyone experienced that?

I think with all brith control the side effect is weight gain, but I don't think it is an issue when you switch form one type to another.

I use it and love it. The only time I had any problem with the patch coming off was when I placed it on my lower stomach. With all the bending and sitting, it just got a little loose around the edges. I have no problem on my arm, back, or butt. I did not have any side effects either.

I used it. It never came off. The only thing I hated was the black ring on my butt where the patch once was. It says you can get it off with baby oil.

I went off of it because my blood pressure was high on the Pill and I was afraid it would happen with the patch. I used the patch to skip my 'you know what' for my wedding and honeymoon. It worked. After that..I stopped taking it.

I actually was dieting when I started and I lost...then gained when I stopped dieting

I'm the exception here .. I liked the freedom of the patch, but had bad side effect with it (not weight gain, just lots of PMS symptoms ALL MONTH LONG)

My gyno told me to give it 3 months before giving up .. I did, but still felt lousy .. she took me off it.

Now I have to go back on the pill .. [sigh]

I've been on the patch for 7 months and I love it. Only side effect is that my boobs are ENORMOUS now when before they were merely average size.

FH loves it, but I feel like dolly parton some days...
