I am soo stuck on the idea of having a tea party shower! Since Alice in Wonderland is coming out I have taken my little idea a little further and now I would love to have a mad hatter tea party shower. Do you think this is too much of a complicated idea to pass by the bridesmaids since they will be doing the actual hands on planning of the shower. They already knew I wanted a tea party theme but is the mad hatter theme too much? Who else wants to have a tea party shower theme?

i dont want one but i just wanted to say my friend had one and it was so cute. Her mom collects these cute tea pots so each table was set up with these pretty tea pots and cup/saucer sets. They served scones, a light salad, strawberry soup, and finger sandwiches. They even hired ppl that came dressed in like old fashioned outfits to serve the tea..it was a cute idea!

That sounds sooo cute! I can't wait to throw the idea around with my bridesmaids to see what they say. I don't want it to be an inconvenience to them if it is kind of hard for them to do but it seemed fun to me and they could showcase their amazing creative talents that they all have.

'09 crasher my friend had her bridal shower at the Garden City Hotel they have an afternoon tea package for showers it was nice.
