Who wants to. . . .

buy a two family house with me?



FH and I keep falling in love with these two family houses. . . . his brother and SIL want us to buy one with them but I would rather gouge out my own eyeball with a sharp object.

They already have three kids - and we will be nelyweds. I just dont think it will work out well and I have a feeling that I will become free and instant babysitting at all times. My mother told me never to move in with anyone. . . she lived with her MIL for 35+ years so i trust her advice, lol.

FH and I are moving in with my parents, but it is a completely temporary situation - i know everyone says that but it is so teeny tiny, that in our case, we CAN'T get stuck up there for ages.

Anyway, so someone buy a house with me. thanks. We will all be newlyweds. We dont 'really' know each other so we won't fight or invade each other's space. . . what do ya think??

. I'll move in w/ ya if you guys buy it.

this two family is under $700K which is nothing short of a miracle where a ONE family starts at $800K and these houses that i am looking at will be brand new, not even built yet!!!

My next door neighbor's two sons bought the house on the other side of us together. It was converted into a M/D and they will be renovating to make it bigger.

i would probably move in with MY sister - bc she would respect our space. I am not even sure my brother and his wife would. . . its too scary to even think about bc its not like you can say whoops, this was a bad choice - now you guys move out lol

I understand, I would never be able to live with my brothers!! It's pretty funny that they live one door down from their parents though. Sort of like everone loves raymond! At least I have nice neighbors.

Well it can actually be a real good investment...I mean you can rent out the other apartment and make a little bit of a profit...If you and Fh have enough for the downpayment it would be great. Good luck

if we didnt have a wedding we would definitely have more than enough for a down payment - but that is the problem. . . with the wedding we cant afford a down payment at the same time - which is why we are wating a year or two before getting the house

but we def want a two family to rent out when the time comes!
