Who wants to come to IKEA tonight?

I need someone to carry stuff because I'm lazy and to tell me I'm pretty and buy me a cinnamon bun.

Please bring several boxes of money.


Actually getting stuff for the apartment which now has a TILED bathroom finally! I'm getting plates and pillows... I'm excited!

No can do ... I can't take the slippery wheels on those carts.

But cinnamon bun ... yummmmmmmmm ... you are so pretty!

Sorry, I'm not allowed to go to IKEA anymore...last time we were there, we were after a kitchen table, walked away for like a second and some Asian man snatched the last FIVE from under our noses!!! You could see an entire stack on the most highest shelf in the store, but the guy said they couldn't get them down until the store was closed (something about it being hazardous to drive a forklift through the crowded warehouse - c'mon!) and IKEA in London doesn't deliver!!

So, convinced that this man was opening a restaurant, the Seb & Farah household is no longer permitted a) inside IKEA or b) to eat Chinese food...I so wanted to carry your plates

After taking some time to really digest that last post, while I disagree with the embargo on IKEA, I agree with the thought process involved.

I feel the same way about MicroCenter for similar reasons, except replace 'kitchen table' with 'computer', 'highest shelf' with 'total system failure' and 'asian man' with 'obnoxious manager with a combover'. I refuse to deal with them.

I'm dying to know what Oliver Stone has done to you ...

He exists, isn't that enough?

And his craptacular movies make me want to eat broken glass.

Your response about Chinese food reminded me of what I read about Les Moonves' soon to be ex wife - she hates Julie Chen so much she won't let the kids watch CBS or eat Chinese food!
