I put 2 and 2 together and figured out that my shower is this Saturday. I am very busy and I realized that it could only be this weekend plus my FSIL said the wrong words to me over the phone. My MOH put in a lot of hard work and I feel bad. But I knew it was coming! RIGHT????? So please share your shower stories. Thanks Crystal

Haven't had mine yet but I hope I am surprised!! It will be kind of hard because my mom will be coming in from Florida, but she could always hide from me for one night! Have fun and even if you're not surprised - you're going to have a wonderful time!!

No surprise here THANK YOU TO ONE PARTICULAR BM who FIRST told me the date - OK not so bad but THEN told me where! - OH and mine is also this sat! I hope you have an amazing day!

I was completely surprised...I really did think I was going to a 'fund-raiser' with a friend. I totally was convinced that my shower was the weekend after...
They got me good!!!

This is exactly my situation....I might be wrong. My mom and friends keep throwing dates at me and different events. We shall see!

J.Lo - Have you told your FH or any of your bridal party that you think you know when it is?
I haven't said anything becuase I don't want to upset anyone if I am right.

I was totally surprised, my shower was this past Saturday. It was wonderful, although I was totally shocked!!

I was SO surprised! I was told we were going fishing so I had on sneakers, shorts and a sweatshirt.. I hadn't showered, brushed my hair OR put on make-up! I made my finance go home and get me a change of clothes!

I was totally suprised, probably because it happened 3 months before the wedding. But everyone worked out a really good excuse, we were doing errands(even home depot!) and were on our way to our hall to pick up direction cards when his friend called us and asked us to stop by and have lunch with him (we do this often so it wasn't weird), when I walked in I was totally shocked!

OOOHH!! That's sooo wrong!!
They couldn't come up with something better than fishing so you would at least be SHOWERED??? Too funny!!
Mine should be one of the next weekends ... I will pretend to be suprised. I know where it is (found evidence around the house a while back but have not slipped to anyone that I know), and there's no way of getting me there under another pretense.
Just told FH to make sure he sneaks our digital camera in the car when he brings me, so once there I can have someone take pictures so I have my own (and that I can post!! )
