Who was the first person(s) you told that you got engaged?
Well besides obviously my FH and I knowing lol, I called my youngest sister to tell her the good news and also asked right then and there if she'd be my MOH. Our parents and other siblings were next.

everyone knew except for me...FH proposed in his bedroom...his mom was in the hallway and my parents were right outside the front door..so i guess that makes it my FMIL.

my parents were the first people i called!!! the ball just dropped for 2008, so it was midnight but they were fast asleep! my mom hopped out of bed, she was so excited!

It was so cute, we didn't want to leave either parents out and they leave in opposite locations (one in Nassau the other in Suffolk and we literally live right in the middle -LOL). Anyway, we decided to drive to my parents and surprise them, and on the way over we called his mom. So his parents were the first to know and my parents were the first to see us.We totally surprised both. And of course after we told my parents, we drove to his parents. It just added to the special day. And both mom's cried, it was so nice.

My parents of course- FH asked my dad for my hand in marriage, so I called them both to tell them the good news. They were waiting for him to pop the question...then I called my 2 sisters and then I called friends.

After I was done screaming and shaking, I called my mom. It was 10:30 p.m. and she had no clue it was happening.

i would have called my mom first but i didnt want to do it over the phone, so after we left the beach (where we got engaged) we went straight to my parents house. the first personi called was my best friend/MOH but she knew already. She was waiting for my phone call all day lol

We called FH's parents. Mine already knew, since he had asked them, but his had no idea. Plus we were in hawaii on a 6 hour time difference and my parents weren't up that early.

i called my bf justine....FH told me that both sets of our parents already knew it was going to happen - so i called my mom later on lol....my parents live in florida so its not like i could go there or show them....my mom, sis and grandma ended up coming to NY the next day on the 4th of July

We were in aruba and trying so hard to make an international call but couldn't figure it out.. so we just hopped online and chatted with my parents! And of course my sister and then the girls I knew I wanted to have as bridesmaids!
Oh yea, and of course facebook got updated instantly..
