Who will see there FH before the ceremony? Who will not see there FH before the ceremony?? Any what are your reasons?

I will not....my one big reason is that I totally want teh first time he sees me to be when I walk down the aisle, I have just always envisioned seeing hsi face when eh sees me for the first time all dolled up...I just feel like it will be a really special moment...

I will see him before, we are taking our pics before the ceremony. The ceremony and CH are back to back and we don't want to miss anything. I also think it will calm my nerves a bit to see him before. We are not really ones for tradition anyway.

I am not going to see FH before the ceromony. We talked about it and he is the one that doesn't want to see me! He wants to see me when I walk down the aisle. I had asked him what if we see each other before the ceromony to calm our nerves and he was so set against it. I thought that was sweet! So we are keeping it traditional.

we saw eachother before the ceremony. we met at the hall 3 hours before so we can take lots of pictures (our hall's grounds are breathtaking!) in daylight.
we hit the jackpot by doing that! our photographer took 400 pics during those 3 hours and they are my favorites from the wedding
the photographer captured the moment that DH and I saw eachother for the 1st time and it was beautiful!
if you can, I HIGHLY recommend that you take pics before!

We're waking up together. We agreed we aren't going to change our life styles for the wedding. We have to get pictures done and it will be so much easier if we knock them out before the ceremony.

That's why we didn't. We took about 2 and 1/2 hours worth of pics beforehand, but seperate. Him with his family & BP - me with my family and BP. Then after the ceremony we did together shots. If it's done right there should still be time to go to CH if you want to. Our photographer shot over a thousand pics and after all blinks, etc we ended up with 788 proofs.
Here's a shot of him tearing up - first glimps of his STB wife coming down the aisle...

Same here...I know I always watch the grooms' faces at weddings when the doors open and they see the bride for the first time that day...it's awesome seeing them get all teary and choked up...so sweet!

We are not seeing each other beforehand. I want the first time he sees me to be me coming down the aisle. I'll sacrifice my CH for it.

Thats how i feel as well. I just can't explain it. I've seen videos of brides who see the groom before hand and its not as special. Its like... oh here you are instead of there's the woman i'm marrying. Did that make any sense?

I did not see DH before the ceremony and to me it was the best thing because when we both saw each other when I was walking down the aisle the emotions were just spilling and it was quite special.

I am because I want to get the pictures out of the way and enjoy the cocktail hour with my guests. I don't think it will take away from anything because we will still have our own private moment (except for photo/video) where it will be just me and him. It will still be very special.

the CH was another reason why DH and I did pics before. the good far outweighed the not seeing each other at the altar for the 1st time.
After we first saw each other & the photographer captured it on film , the maitre D escorted us into the bridal suite so we can have a few moments alone. it was so special! we had a chance to calm each other down and just relish the moment

Same here. We will be taking some pictures during the CH, but we want to have most of them out of the way before that.
