I work in the West Village on Hudson and King (one block south of Houston, right near the river)

I used to work right near there! Hudson between King and Charlton.

What building? I work at 345 Hudson.

I used to work in the same building at a small trade publishing company! Are you in publishing?

Yes, I work for Penguin in one of the young readers imprints. I didn't even know there WAS another book publisher in the building. All I know is that El Diario is one floor below us and we know when they have their Xmas party because the floors shake from the music.

And Bowne is in here too.

hey julie, my co is moving into 345 hudson at the end of may! right now we are on spring btw 6th and varick. so not a big move, but i hear it's a nice building

FH works at 4 times square ( I know that I gave the exact address, but it is a HUGE building ). I work at night on 46th btwn 8th and 9th.

I think that's the building my former roomate worked in, but they just moved to the Empire State Building.
Maybe you are taking their space.
does it have a chase bnak branch on street level? And Kenny's cafe or something like that on the corner?

Moving to 34th & 8/9

w/ a possibility of moving to 42nd & 3rd...

Does anyone know how the commute to 42nd/3rd is from Penn?

It's not bad- I used to go to 40th and Lexington which is the same subway to Grand Central. I took the 1/9 to Times Square and then took the 7 two stops to Grand Central. It took about 15-20 minutes. Alot of people use the S but I think it's a much further walk from where you get off the 1/9.
