Soooo I did not expect this AT ALL...but FH calls me just now to say he got an email from FMIL...all I'm thinking is 'Oh great...what NOW'...but he tells me it was her letting him know that she made some purchases from our Macy's registry for Christmas/my birthday because things were on sale...and she was having them shipped to our house so that we'd have less to bring home with us from Christmas.

I went on to look....she bought us ALL our everyday dishes, including the completer and hostess sets, our everyday flatware AND a vase that I loooooove...I couldn't believe it!! Esp after everything that's been going on lately...this was SUPER generous of her. I can't wait to get our new plates so I can chuck the ones we have!!
