So, tonight Donna told us that Josh's cousin is having a wedding reception in June, and I said, 'In June???????!!!!!!!!!!!' Specific day as yet unknown. But I quickly lied, may THE LORD forgive me, and told her I thought she said August!!!!! ( Surprise Showers sometimes come in June) I hope Josh's side of the family can still come!!!! Kinda concerned!!!!! I still have quite a few RSVP's outstanding. Mary MOB
UPDATE!!! I finally called Josh's Mom, who said the cousin's reception, does not coincide with Donna's Shower!!!!!

Ummmmm, girls,.......... just received RSVP from the cousin in question, who wrote a nice apology why she cannot come to the Shower, but now I really AM worried, because she said her reason was, 'due to a few things scheduled for this particular weekend', ummmmmmmm, does this mean your Mom, and about 15 other relatives won't come to our event, and the ones who already replied will change their mind to go to your's?????? Oh, boyeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Pray the shower isn't ruined!!!! We hardly have anyone in our family, most guests are from Josh's side!!!!!! Mary MOB

The cousin's reception, or whatever she's talking about, coincides with the surprise shower I'm giving for Donna. Josh knows my date/plans, as well as his family, who knew about the shower before this event of the cousin's. I believe her plans have been 'hastily' put together, for personal reasons, but I'm worried her plans will affect the shower. Mary MOB

Can't you call FH's mom and ask him what's going on, if there's some way that you can't make both things work?

I thought about getting in touch with Josh's Mom, but I think I'll bide my time and see what happens!!!! The cousin's reception is in another state. I just hope no one backs out of the shower without telling me. I need to know how many meals to order!!! Mary MOB

According to Donna, the cousin is having a reception in June, with a small ceremony sometime before that; Whether it's the same day as Donna's Shower, I don't know!!!! I was really hoping a lot of Josh's family could make it!!!!! I'll sit tight, and see what happens. Mary MOB

nutin much just getting a bunch of donations for my daughters school sirent auction sorted i think the grand total was 37 etsy shop donating to these baskets!!!!!! These are going to be some amazing baskets there are so many great items from so many great shops!!!!! how are the shower plans going?
