1) Fox Hollow has a max 150, so we decided 75 from my side, and 75 from FI's side. We're inviting 89, and the chances are that at least 80 of those will show. We're keeping 9 out of the 89 guests as 'maybe' and sending their invites out as we get the no's. Question: Now, I originally had a RSVP date as 3/30, now we're thinking of moving it to 3/15 - is that too early?
Question: If we move it to 3/15, when should we send the invites out?
Question: Do you think people will notice that they're on the 'maybe' list, if we send it out later than the other guests?
2) On my RSVP card, I am putting the number of invited guests, not allowing guests to bring others uninvited, here's a picture:
Question: What happens if people are bringing less than the number I'm putting down? Should I add another line that says something like 'How many will attend or number posted above?' (not these words obviously - but you get the point)
3) Best Man and MOH will both be making seperate speeches, when do they do it?
Okay, I think that's all I have now, more to come I'm sure....

IMO,
3/15 is not too early Send them out between 2/1 & 2/15
People will probably fill in the number 3 invited 2 Will attend 1 Will not attend
From my experiences, Speeches are usually when dinner has been served and everyone is about to eat.

Re: Whole Bunch of Wedding Questions (Long)
ok listen.
1) I don't think it's too early...fh wants me to send the invites out at the end of Jan and have them back the first week of March, so it would be the same for you (since we are a week apart)
2) hmm, good one. I have no clue. maybe change your boxes to say All Will Attend, One will attend., We All have better things to do than attend your crappy wedding?
3) another good one. maybe during dinner? definitely when things are mellow...or maybe one during dinner and another before/during/after cake cutting?
edited to add- about the yes/no lists.
in order to hopefully avoid hurting anyone's feelings...we are sending the invites out in groups...first to family member that know each other and speak regularly, then to the next group. if you can do this, you shouldn't have anyone finding out dates.

Okay, I think that's all I have now, more to come I'm sure....
Question: If we move it to 3/15, when should we send the invites out? I would send them out at least a month before...not everyone will RSVP in a timely matter...and if you are sending the remaining 9 cards as the no's come in you need to give them enough time to rsvp.
Question: Do you think people will notice that they're on the 'maybe' list, if we send it out later than the other guests? I don't think so UNLESS they happen to know anyone that is getting a 'yes' invitation...they may think somethings up if their invite gets to them 'later' (bc of the no responses)...but I think you're safe...
Question: What happens if people are bringing less than the number I'm putting down? Should I add another line that says something like 'How many will attend or number posted above?' (not these words obviously - but you get the point) Not sure if thisis the right way or if it would be clear but I would just put my name and not how the invite was addressed...ie Ms. SABRINA xxxxx and Guest...I'd leave the guest part off... not too sure about this one
3) Best Man and MOH will both be making seperate speeches, when do they do it? The last two weddings that we've attended they both did the speeches right after after the appetizers were served...but your Maitre'd will tell them when...
Hope that helped

What about if I leave it as is, and do this: ( ) setas have been reserved in your honor - I fill this out
( ) will attend, ( ) no. in party - they will check yes and then fill in the number of the seats reserved...
( ) will not attend,
Is that okay?

that works very well. your telling them their max, and then giving them the option of meeting it or not....good job!

1) No of course its not too early!!! Im sure most of your family & close friends know when your wedding is already, so it wont be a shocker!!
Question: I'd send it out around the 15th of previous month.
Question: Depends who they are... If they are friends.. I doubt it...
3) Best Man and MOH will both be making seperate speeches, when do they do it?
They can do it right after one another

I think this works really well. Sending the invites out in Jan. is not too early. My invites are going out next week. My reply date is 12/5, which gives me almost 6 weeks before my wedding to do stuff. Guests have 5 weeks to reply.
Definitely have the speeches during dinner. Everyone will be seated and paying attention.

Answer: #1 - 3/15 no not too early. I would send out the first 2 weeks of feb. Try to send the B list people out at the same time as on the non-b list people who know them. (if possible)
#2 Can you change the last two lines to:
( ) seats will attend ( ) will not attend
then u know those who are coming and with how many guests..... and then not attend is self explanatory.
#3 I think the BM and MOH should do the toasts at the same time back to back. Not sure at what point they do this..probably sometime in the begining..Fox hollow will probably tell u when it will happen.
What about if I leave it as is, and do this: ( ) setas have been reserved in your honor - I fill this out

That looks great!! --^

Everyone pretty much answered your questions, I just wanted to say I think 3/15 is a FABULOUS date.

Re: Whole Bunch of Wedding Questions (Long)
Most weddings I have been to the BM and MOH make their toasts right after the first dance.
