So my mom remembers this dress store that was in manhattan like 30 years ago when she got married...and it was only open to the public on saturdays (and buyers others days) it had multiple floors with almost every designer and manufacturer. She can't remember the name and doesn't think it still exists but does anybody now if it still does?!

My friend buys dresses all the time in an area that sounds like the same place. Although you cannot try on there and they do not alter. The prices can't be beat. Give me a few days and I will get the info for you

Tried to get some info from another friend since my friend Jenny is away on vacation. She said its on 7th by 35th st. She said there are plenty of wholesalers there. She got a Giovanni there for half the price I remember. As soon as Jenny gets back I will forward more info. In the meantime I hope that helps.
