Wholesale florists

Wholesale florists

OK... just found out my Aunt from Canada who I rarely see does part-time floral arranging. I asked her to e-mail me pictures of the arrangements and they are beautiful. She has volunteered to come to NY a few days earlier and do all of the flowers for my wedding. Does anyone know of any wholesale flortists? I have to get the flowers and she will provide the labor. I called Burton's about my date last week (Mon July 4th) and they said they have stopped taking business for that weekend.

Help please?

Re: Wholesale florists

I'm doing my own CP's. We got flowers from Costco to do a trial, and they were BEAUTFIUL!!! I'm planning on getting the flowers for the actual wedding there. You can pre-order in advance, if you're buying in bulk. For example, I will have 25 tables. Each table requires 2 dozen roses, so in total that's 50 dozen roses. At Costco, they charge $15 for 2 dozen roses.

Sam's Club will also do this.

Here are some pics of my sample cp's, to show you the quality of the roses...

Re: Wholesale florists

Thanks girls some great ideas. I did hear about all roses packages being much cheaper and easier to get. My aunt has done some beautiful work so I think I'll check out Nat. Floral Wholesaler in Bellmore first. With my schedule it's pretty impossible to consider NYC.

Thanks. If anyone knows any others please let me know.

I am interested in getting some for my little sister's graduation party but I would like to get them online. Anyone know a site to order bulk flowers from?

This great to know that you can pre order them...i did not know and i didnt know what to do about my petal cones (havent made them yet) but sometimes at COSCTO the flowers are not so fresh...are they fresh when they pre order them?
This is great... they have so many different flowers and they are beautiful!

By the way your centerpieces look beautiful!!!!

I know what you mean- sometimes you have to weed out the bad bunches. But you can find the really fresh ones and they last for a while.

I think because you can preorder them, they'll come in for that day- and therefore be fresher. At least that's what I hope!
