Whoohoo my bach party (Oct 9 2004)
OMG what a night! Im still SORE!!
After my ordeal in the morning (check out NWR Elizabeth Arden story) I was running late. Got into the city at 4:30 and at the girl’s house by 5pm.
Started by meeting the girls at the planetarium. I didn’t really know any of them but two. So we did the Scavenger Hunt they do there for the Upper West Side. That was fun. Ended up being more like a bar hopping site seeing thing. Up and down Columbus St & Amsterdam Ave. Got a Sangria at Raccoon Lounge and a Hurricane at Burbon St.
Went over to one of the girl’s apts and ate TONS of finger foods galore. Red Wine, Champagne, screwdrivers, gin & ginger ale, more Champagne on the roof top. GREAT photos of the lighted glasses she has. We lined them up on the rooftop once I get that pic I’ll post it!
Off we went to Hogs & Heffers. Where Bachlorettes get in free. I had one of them silly hats “Bachlorette on the loose”. The girl dancing on the bar top saw me and up I went. Man I boogied down up there. Got shots (gotta have a shot to be on the bar) spent most of the time dancing on the bar top with the girls or by myself! Hehe YES, more photos on that too!
From there it was a Scandinavian party at a different bar (most of my group was Norwegian or Swedish) and more drinks. Champagne and well wishes. Europeans are a different group. Much more lay back.
Got back to her apt around 3 am or so. Finally went to bed around 4:30 or so. Woke up at 8am, showered got breakfast and chatted up a bit. Got back to Jim at 3pm.
Do you REALIZE that’s the first time in YEARS Jim & I slept in separate beds?!?!??!
