whoops! what do i do?

several months ago, when my mom and i were in sears looking at refridgerators, they had hoodies on sale for $3. i decided to pick one up for me, each of the girls in my bridal party, and my mom to wear the day of the wedding while we are getting hair/make-up done. i was (am) going to embroider each one with the person's initials.

fast forward to today. i'm about to send out a message to my fmil and my aunt (with whom i'm very close) asking them to join us for hair and make-up. before i hit send i realized... I DON'T HAVE HOODIES FOR THEM!!! and, i'm obviously not going to find the same ones i got for everyone else.

do you think they'll feel left out if they don't have hoodies? if so, what do i do???

You could do different ones. Maybe change your Moms as well, so they all have the same one and the girls have another one.

Give them to your Bridal Party at the Bachelorette Party and have them wear it on the day of the wedding... that way it's something they HAVE already. As for your MOM... just write 'Mother of the Bride' on it and give it to your mom in advance... no one can argue that you're allowed to treat your mom special!!!

yes, make the 'adults' a little different-- yours a little different b/c your the bride and then your BMs all the same-- then it will look right.

try different color embroidery, putting different things (full name, initials), their title (mother in law, bridesmaid, etc).

I agree...if you want to get them hoodies still...just change your moms or try to find the same ones..you never know!

I fully agree with Sarah. They'll probably just sum it up to a BP thing anyway and your mom jumping on the bandwagon. No big deal!

Many places will have something like it. Look for those in your wedding colors if you have to. Then mix and match.

I had some of DH's family contacting me to get their hair done before the wedding. I made sure FMIL had the appt, but I left the others to do it on their own. I would at least try to get FMIL some sort of hoodie, or shirt, or something.
