OK, since I'm a goof and didn't write a farewell here...I'll thank you all for helping me get through the most memorable and stressful day of my life. I'll say this: yes, it's a big pain in the as$, but it's so worth it.

RedHead - the martini bar was so cute...no one knew it was there, but then again, my guests were completely impressed with everything! Their first LI wedding and all they did all night was thank US for having invited them...
OK, on to the pictures...again, thanks so much to everyone who helped and answered my rants...and the review will be thorough, promise!

Katrina! Yes, my mom finished the whole thing in less than 5 days...but the day of she realized that it needed buttons, not zippers...so hours before (the morning of) she had to go buy buttons...all will be on my review of her!
OMG RH rocked! JUST AMAZING! It was better than we imagined...we did NOTHING but lay around, get drunk and eat...we ate A LOT. LOVE THAT PLACE!
OK, any news with you? Picked a place? I have to tell you...the $30K question...is it worth it? YES! Money is money, but we had a day we will never get back. Although we saw a wedding at RH while we were there and it was very nice and intimate...we're still glad we did the 'big' wedding though...worth every penny!

SASHA!!!!! I missed all this!! I was not at work today! I do have more pics, I will get them to you!!! You guys looked so happy from the moment you stepped into the church and as I can see, that happiness stayed with you to JT!! I am so glad things were good for you! I thought of you all day, hoping things were as well, if not better, than you expected!!
Side note: We just booked Michelle for DOC and Makeup!! We chatted briefly about your experiences the morning of your wedding!!! So glad to hear the HM was fabulous!!

You're less than a year away...I must say Mexico was HOT! We went to Tulum and it was 116 degrees! But so beautiful!
My mom did make my dress and it was great (although she didn't know how to do a bustle so my dress is FILTHY!) but WOW was it totally filled with angst, the whole process since making your own dress from scratch (picking the design, making it to fit your body type, the fabric, embroidery, etc.) is so tiring when the dressmaker is your mom and your OCD! I hope 12th Night got close-ups of the bodice, it was all worth it just for the hand embroidery...
But I say all that and I still think that your Carmela Suttera style dress is just a freakin dream!

Thank you KimberlyBride! I bought it on eBay and LOVED IT! I wasn't crazy about it once I got it but once it was on it felt so soft and it was $40! The crystals, like 99% of veils with crystals were glued on, and although I was expecting it to be hand sewn (but not for that price I guess ) it sparkled a lot and looked great.

72' wide fine illusion tulle is cut in a full oval and gently gathered to form two tiers. It is trimmed in satin 1/4' wide ribbon. This is a fingertip length veil, with the tiers measuring 30' and 36' long. Both tiers are generously scattered with clear Swarovski rhinestones. The top tier has rhinestones affixed to both sides so you can use it as a blusher if you wish. A sturdy clear plastic comb is attached. All elements of this veil are WHITE.
