I'm here doing my regular info search on LIW and the internet. I should be in bed but I can't stop clicking and typing! This place is soooo addicting!!

Oh I know it will! I always wait until the last minute. I guess I work better that way. Right now I have been looking at Verbana and Flower Barn for flowers. I have an appoinment with Pedestals and Flowers by Brian next week but I heard they are pretty pricey.

DJ's is a big issue because my guest list is predominantly haitian and it is a lot harder to find good Americanized haitian dj. So I'm doing some serious research.

How is ur planning going?

I'm booked with Verbena. My experience with Jen so far has been TERRIFIC! I hear good things about all of them though! Good luck finding your DJ - that sounds challenging! I'm sure you'll find someone perfect for the job.

My planning's going well, thanks! Major stuff is booked and now I'm stressing over details like what color cocktail napkins and silly things like that

I think our rock band is for the PS3, not sure. We have a PS3 and a Wii. We use the PS3 10000x more (DH plays lots of games, we watch movies on it, etc).

Most recently, when I've gotten to play, I've been all about singing. Probably why FH doesn't want to get the game! Poor guy - he's probably afraid he'll come home one day and we'll be kicked out because the neighbors couldn't take the sound of my wretched voice anymore.

I have never sung once... DH either sings and plays guitar, or does drums. If we play together I usually drum although I find the guitar easier than guitar hero.

One thing I do like about the wii is that you can download old school nintendo games for $5 each, and you can save your game and come back to it later! no more leaving the system on for 24 hours like when I was a kid, or just playing for 10 hours straight.

growing up i only had original nintendo and nothing else until DH and I moved in together a year ago, so I prefer games that involve 4 buttons and are mario style

Ohh that's awesome about Wii. I have been dying to play Mario Kart for the longest! The old games would bring back sooo many old memories! What was that game where you had to shoot the ducks??? That might have been even before Nintendo. Who knows lol I'm probably better off not having another game system (we have original xbox now but we only have like madden and some golf game).

OH! And Bubble Bobble brings back sooo many high school memories of playing it on the big Neo Geo machine in the pizzeria! We used to spend hours (and soooo many quarters) playing that game after school. WOW! I've never heard of Megaman either. That was on Nintendo? Old video games were the best. Going back even further... do you remember playing Oregon Trail on the computer? I think we used to do that in school - it was on those huge floppy disks.

And yes, remember Oregon Trail! Used to play it on the old Apple 2e computers in the elementary school computer lab, and then at home on our computer. I remember they had Oregon Trail 2 so we bought it and it was way too fancy and not nearly as good as the old one so we returned it and went back to the original. X died of cholera! Oops

We always used to name the characters after people we knew... and then they would die or drown and we would be like... OMG!

I wish we had bubble bobble out here too but maybe it's for the best we dont.
