DH and I are going!! He really wanted to go, so I figured since I have dragged him to so many weddings and family parties in the past month(which he hates), its the least I could do, going somewhere he wants to go!!

Apparently half the East coast was there today!!!! I was trying to get to my grandma's 85th birthday and the traffic!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took 2 hours!!!!!

I ended up not going. I am glad I didn't go it was probably so crowded. Iplace some bets on the underdogs though. I heard that if you bet on Smarty and he wins you will only make $2.80 for every $2 you bet. That is a horrible payoff!

OMG was it packed, but sooo much fun. The worst part was coming home. We stood on a train platform with about two thousand people for 2 1/2 hours and we just got home!! we left at, or tried to leave at 7:00 and its now 10:40 and we just got home!!

Boop - I was on that train platform too... it was a nightmare!!! I was so claustrophobic!
Not to mention the 45 minutes on line it took me to go to the bathroom...
We went last year in the rain and it was actually more fun because it was less crowded. This year was fun but it was too crowded. We were in the backyard part and it was like a zoo...plus I was sad that the horse lost. I wanted to be there to say I saw a triple crown.
