WHO's GOOD w/ Computers??? Need help.....

I have a bunch of questions about my computer... I havent been able to access my home computer that often, because I think its got a virus or something (I am on my moms computer)----

I did a scan earlier from a 'Spy Hunter' program, and they found a bunch of spyware. Can it be these that are slowing my computer, not allowing me to access ANY sites, and causing pages to half load?

The error message I receive most often is a dsn or r error, and then it say page cannot be displayed to try again later, click refresh or detect network settings... Is this making sense to anyone???
Then the other question I have is should I buy the 'full version' of the Spy hunter program, or should I just buy a Norton anti virus? Will that knock it out, or will I need multiple programs to acheive the best proformance???

Someone please help.

You need a combination of anti-spyware and anti-virus.

But if your PC is that badly infected... a full system restore would be the ideal solution. But of course remember doing a system restore wipes out everything on your PC so backup all your files prior. But this is the best way to go.

I system restore at least once a year to keep the PC fresh.

We had this happen and had to wipe the whole system out and restore it. Good luck!
