not all the girls that are invited to the wedding, if you have a small wedding this can be done though.
Dont forget alot of girls will be guests of a guy you invited and they are not necessarily invited...If they invited every girl to my shower it would be at around 150 girls maybe even more, not sure but thats too much.
Were doing family, close friends of parents, my close friends and a couple of girls that are wives, gf's of Fhs friends but ones that are close to use

i have read up on this its - close family members from both sides who are in the area (you have a grandma fly up but typically oot's don't go), close friends, bridal party, and maybe a few coworkers if you close with them.
BUT they have to be invited to the wedding as well.

That's a good question. I think my mom think its every female invited to the wedding. Where did you read up on this so I can have back up to prove my mom wrong!!

i always thought it was all the girls that are invited to the wedding, not including the girls that are guest(like ur cousin's girlfriend that u never met)

i agree that it should not be all women who are invited to the wedding.
i was once invited to the shower of fh's co-worker's fiance who i barely knew and i thought it was so strange that i was invited. quite honestly i was a little annoyed. i didn't want to go and feel uncomfortable and not know anyone, but then at the wedding i felt kind of uncomfortable since she probably knew i was invited and hadn't attended.
i think it should be kept to close friends and family.

Friends and family. It doesn't have to be every woman invited to the wedding, unless you're having a really small wedding.

Depends who is running your shower. My mom is because i have two bm's and one of which is dirt poor so my mom said she rather do it anyway. She is running it but asking or hinting on things I would like. I know it probably will be in a coffee place in town that i love to go to or an irish restaurant and I handed my excel spread sheet over to who is invited to the wedding and the people I would like to see there. Other then that everything is in her hands.
Typically BM, MOH run the shower, mother or a combo of both.

My wedding is smallish (about 125) so we are pretty much inviting all the women, except for a few wives of FH's old friends that I don't really know well. We figure we will have about 50 guests b/c OOT guests won't come.

I feel that it's all the females that are invited to the wedding. I know that I spoke to my MOH about that because I don't want any hurt feelings if one person is invited and the other is not. There will people who show and people who will not show.

i thought it was just female fam and close friends? I know that if it were all of the women who were invited to the wedding, my shower would be like 100 females
i think i would perfer something smaller and more intimate - like 40-50 total (fam and friends)
