FI fell asleep watching the Yankee game, I feel like we are 60 years old..lol. Although I do have a shower tomorrow, so I will be hitting the hay pretty soon myself.

I took a carnival cruise for my honeymoon. We had a great time.

How cool Jenn. I took Carnival b4 but only with friends, never w/ bf. I'm psyched. He's working though (due back at 5 a.m.) & we leave here at 11:30...he is going to be so beat :(

I really do apologize to anyone I offend right now, but I HATE showers! Like hate! There is nothing I hate more..lol. I don't even think I will like mine. I will tell you one thing, I am not making everyone sit there and watch me open gifts. My shower will have music and dancing, and FUN FUN FUN!!! None of those chessy shower games, although the one where everyone has to design a dress with toilet paper is a cute one. I will open my gifts at home and call everyone personally to thank them.

I have some time before mine will be planned, but I really should make a few phone calls to make sure I won't hate it...lol

I'm not a big fan of them either. I don't mind going when it's a close family member or friend. But this is my mom's best friend's future DIL's shower. Oh and the girl is a B*&ch.

Thats even worse when you don't like the person. I had to go to FI's 3rd cousin twice removed (whatever that means) bridal shower. Keep in mind no one in his family talks to these people. Anyway, the bridal party didnt even help open the gifts. She did each one 1 by 1. She read the card, unwrapped, opened the box, picked it up. My god it was torture! At least when the bridal party helps they unwrap and open the boxes for you. I sware I thought I was going to die there.

I like showers. I like to see the bride's face as she opens up my gift.

I love baby showers. Those are fun. I get so carried away with buying gifts.

Baby showers are fun. It's cute to see all of the baby clothes and toys. And I think people like baby showers more so everyone has a better time.

I don't mind bridal showers. I'm just not thrilled about them, especially in this case where I don't care for the person.
