After reading how much everyone is paying for their wedding, I'm wondering who is paying for your weddings? How did you split the costs between you, your FH, his parents and yours? Just curious (I'm nosey )

My parents are paying for 1/2 the reception costs, flowers, invites and photograher. My FH's parents are paying for the band and the other half of the guest list. Our parents are so generous to pay for everything that I've worked hard to make it affordable, even though FH's parents can pay for a much more expensive wedding than mine, I wanted to keep it fair because it was important for my mom to pay for as much as she could.

My husband and I paid for the entire thing...from soup (rehearsal dinner) to nuts (honeymoon).
It was our dream and we wouldn't have changed a thing.

just us - which is a plus since nobody else has any input (unless of course we like their ideas - and everyone is still full of ideas although they are not chipping in

my parents are paying for entire reception and all my attire- dress, shoes, headpiece, veil, Shower...MANY little things
Fh's parents are doing vendors- Band, photo, video, florist, and limo, and RD
We are paying for everything else...invites, rings, church, favors, OOT bags, Attend. gifts, parent gifts, the trumpeteers

LOL- good luck! we had a few people give us no gift, and a couple families of 5 and 6 give us $100 for ALL 6 people ( parents and 3 ADULT children, plus one of thier boyfriends), and one friend who works at kohls part time and gave us some stuff- we needed to return it because it was stuff we already had- turns out she got it all on clearance- total cost of gift was $7!!!! and she brought a date, too!! i guess i'm just saying, don't count on 'making back' the money you spend on the wedding....
TO answer the original question... we split it all in thirds- my parents 1/3, his 1/3, and us 1/3.... it worked out well

Everyone's paying, my mom is giving some money, my dad is giving some, FH's parents are giving some, and we are paying for the rest.

well Fh and I are mostly paying for it my mom has helped by paying for my dress and accessories and the DJ
We also have 3 sponsers that will be helping us with the bill

My mom paid for a good portion of it (basically the whole reception and my dress), his paretns contributed as much money as they could, and we paid for the rest. It was a group effort

My parents are paying the last big chunk payment for the hall, favors, shower and 1/2 the cost of my dress. FH and I are paying everything else - rings, honeymoon, photo/video, DJ, Bridal Party Gifts, Flowers etc. I'm hoping FH's mom will pick up the bill for the rehersal dinner atleast

My parents are paying for the reception, DJ, flowers and my dress, tiara etc..shower. Very thankful for the help because without it, would never be able to plan a wedding for 2006.
We are paying for the photo/video and our rings. invitations and favors. We paid for our e-party and luckily made it all back with gifts.
His family has given us 2 week time share in Hawaii. And have been very generous with gifts.
