Who's the BEST - Paris, Faze 4, Body Heat or....

Looking towards the smart brides.....Please help me with my band decision. I heard Paris -FI loves them! But I heard the other 2 blow them away. Any thoughts on them or maybe better bands I don't know!!!

I am using the original Faze 4. They are amazing and totally blew me away. I have never seen Paris so I can't compare. But in my opinion I liked them much better than Body Heat. It's all a personal opinion but you should definately check out the showcase for Faze 4.

I was wondering if any brides would answer me. I find it hard to believe noone else has heard or used any of the 3 or can offer other suggetsions!

I thought Body Heat was very good. I don't know anything about the other two bands though. I would have booked Body Heat, but needed a band that could play a little more Italian music.

i've just booked body heat for my 10/04 -- thanks to the recommendation of my friend, groovypeg!

i see that babybride didn't book them because she needed more italian. this piqued my interest because this is one of the reasons my fiance and i actually booked body heat -- because they can sing in italian. we're not looking for a lot of this genre at our wedding -- at most 6 or 7 songs -- but body heat was the only band we saw that could pull even that off. many of the bands we saw 'said' they could do italian, but then in actuality, their pronunciation was awful!

i'm curious, who did you end up booking?

We just went to a wedding on Saturday at Jericho Terrace. Our friends used Paris. One word:

AMAZING! I can't imagine any better.

Hi Nicole-

I just saw your post. Sorry for the late reply. I totally agree. Half the bands we saw said they could do Italian and then when we heard them they were horrible. I ended up booking PrimeTime Live through LI Paramount. We needed Italian but not Italian overload. When I compared the two song lists PTL played more of the old school (traditional) Italian my family likes. Body Heat didn't really have many of those songs. But Body Heat is so awesome I would recommend them in a heart beat!!!

Well Body Heat can definately sing Italian music!! I have a huge italian family and they could not believe the voices on the singers for the Italian songs.

Also, My parents went to a wedding on Saturday and said Paris was a fantastic wedding band!!!

Yes! I thought they were fabulous! our friends used them back in june of 2001 and that band was fantastic!!!!

Didn't want to cause confusion about Body Heat. They can play Italian music and very well. They pronounce everything perfectly. And play the songs at the right beat. But if you are looking for the old fashioned Italian music and not the typical Italian songs, they don't know those and will only learn a few. But if you don't need that much Italian they will be perfect!

we are using current affair they are a great band they play frank sinatra and opera during dinner everyone is amazed their website is www.currentaffairmusic.com and you can here live reels of there music but it doesnt compare to the real thing.
