wasn't me - but here are some pics of petal cones that i had on the computer - i am in the process of making ours, it's easy.
It wasnt me either..but i did ake my own cones, very easy! You can buy teh doilies from teh dollar store, one pack has 50 I think, I used double stick tape when I folded them and stuck teh petals in, they came out beautiful!!!

When do you use them? After the ceremony-can you use them in conjunction with bubbles outside the church?

Re: who's the bride that...
I saw them online made out of sheet music - which is cool b/c you can either copy the music of your song - or buy vintage sheet music at a garage sale and make them...
Can you have them if you are not getting married in a church?? I thought it would be great to have them while we walk down the aisle after we get married...
Are you using real, freeze-dried or fabric??

Re: who's the bride that...
I made them, but I haven't posted that before. It was VERY easy to do. I bought 12' square vellum paper from Michaels. Cut it into 6' circles (tools for scrapbooking work great), then used labels from myweddinglabels.com to hold together.
I will try and post the picture, but I usually don't have great luck. The picture doesn't show it, but the paper has a faint rose pattern in it.
i had mystudents make them they each designed a few and most of my kids came to the church and thre petals from their own cones!

Thank you all so much!!! I am probably going to use the real ones - for when we get out of the church.

Does the paper need to be cut into circles?

Re: who's the bride that...
i was trying with doilies, someone posted the image up a couple of posts, and it is from martha stewart and she says cut the doily into quarters. when i cut theminto quarters, they were hard to roll, so i may cut the doilies in half and see how that works. i think as long as the top part has a concave shape or circular shape, it should work.
