I lost my dad in 2002 to cancer as well- I am so sorry for your loss. ![]()

My father was very italian (we had sauce every sunday, big holiday dinners, and he was even on the Soprano's once!) So since we are getting married in Ireland (my mom is just as Irish) instead of having my mom walk me down I am going to have my nephew (my fathers grandson) walk me halfway and then my cousin (who was like a son to my dad bc his dad really wasnt around) walk me the other half. I am not sure who will walk me first!

My mom because she is my best friend and bc my dad passed away 5 years ago. I think I would have had them both do it though...

My mom originally wanted to walk me down with my father, but then she has decided she doesn't want to b/c then she couldn't see me walking down the aisle so as of right now it will just be my dad, but we will have to see if my mom changes her mind again.

I asked my mom if she would walk down with me and my dad. She told me it was his honor to walk me down, so it will be just my dad![]()
My mom said the same thing! My dad actually got insulted when it was brought up! So.....just daddy is walking me down!
