I can highly relate. We were engaged on Christmas 2000 and my father passed away *highly* unexpected 3 days later. Although I know he was happy for us (first time my father ever showed happiness for anyone (girl) in my family gettting married....) I feel so empty as my day approaches.

I do have my mom still, but tragically my grandmother (mom's mom) just passed away. It is so difficult to see my mom deal with this.

I will have my oldest brother walk me down the isle, and my other 2 walk my mom down.

I am also having Mom walk me as my dad passed away 9 years ago (41). It is hard for me to go to weddings where the bride dances with daddy. I usually end up in hysterics. I will be dancing with my grandpa.
