I'm calling in at 8:30. This is retarted, I can't get out my door or driveway and neither can any of my coworkers, yet Good Old County Exec of Suffolk county NEVER closes the county, not even in a blizzard and with the towns closing the roads.Now I have to use my own time FML

I braved it and made it in (I'm upstate..we have a lot of snow but I dont think as much as you were supposed to get). So after a terrifying 45 min. car ride I seem to be the only one in my office and the one next door. Oops. Now what?

FH is at work, he takes the subway so they asked him specifically to come in...I work from home so I don't get the day off either

My job is open but I had to call out. A snowplow was stuck on my block plus it looked like they had not even plowed (or at least since early last night) Plus I am using someone's car so I can't chance someone sliding into it

we have delayed (12 pm) opening, but iam not going in, im a therapist, i DOUBT iam THAT important that i cant miss a day of work. 80% of our clients walk or ride bikes, i doubt they will be there either.

Wow after a delayed opening at 11, my office decided to stay closed! Lucky for them bc i would have left soon and killed someone if i got there and we were closed

My office is still open but I couldn't get in because the roads were too bad. My whole department actually couldn't get in (only 3 other people besides me) but the company itself never closes. Thankfully I don't work in an urgent department so it's okay if I'm not there.
FH got the call this morning that his office is closed so I'm happy he doesn't have to go out either...it's too dangerous!!
Stay home girls, and if you have to go out, drive safely!!!!
