Re: Who's your DJ????
We used Variety Music and they were great. Ray was our MC and Danny was our DJ (although we really didn't hear from Danny at all the whole time - he was still nice). Their prices were the same or better than everywhere else, and we just clicked with them best when we met them. Very down-to-earth, and will totally listen to you. The best thing is that they know it's *your* party, not theirs!!! So they play what you like and really customize it.

We are using Bravura and I just went to their showcase last night - they are so impressive. Very classy, well spoken, and overall talented. If you are interested in live components, they definitely have a lot to offer.

Re: Who's your DJ????
I used Michael from Eclipse Entertainment. He did all my uplighting, dance floor lighting, gobo (name in lights) and it all came out AMAZING!! Basic packages are $1500 and up, we spent about $3500 when all was said and done because we got a ton of lighting extras. I loved Michael as my MC because he is classy and not in your face at all. The music was AMAZING and all my parents friend and my friends were on the dance floor all night long. He is the absolute best.
I am using Music by Michael and I really recommend him. He is extremely organized and professional. In addition, you get to submit your must play, play if possible and dont' play lists online. He's also a pc dj which means he can transition from song to song very smoothly. His basic package is $1500.
