Whose been to Maui?

FH and I are very active and that is where we will be going for the first week of our honeymoon. It just got booked :) Anyway, can anyone suggest things to do? Like specific places to go.

I want to go to:
Surf schools
Shark diving excursions
Sky diving
Helicopter tours
Ect.

That kind of stuff. Thanks!

We did a lot when we went to Hawaii last time

Shark Diving - we did it on the North Shore of Oahu. I don't believe there is a company on Maui that offers shark cage dives. I think the Maui Aquarium offers a dive, but it's in the tank not open water.

We took a surf lesson on Waikiki but friends of ours did it on their HM in Maui.

We did scuba on Maui. FH is certified but I am not but was able to do the resort dive down to 30 feet. It was great - saw sea turtles every where! We did that right at the hotel pool.

Also on Maui, we took the horseback ride into Haleakala Crater. It was long - 6 hours and not an easy ride but it was an amazing experience. We chose to do that over the bicycle ride down the mountain because we thought there would be more to see.

We also snorkeled every single day.

Thanks for all the help! That horseback riding tour sounds awesome but I know I have to do the bikes because fh is afraid of horses

Definitely do the shark dive! It was so worth the $$$. We did it through Hawaii Shark Encounters. There are 2 companies that offer it: North Shore Shark Adventures is the other one. They had a lot of negative reviews on trip advisor and complaints filed with the BBB so we chose Hawaii Shark Encounters. It was awesome!!!
