I'm so upset becasue I'm actually working on Christmas Eve this year! I have days to take off but my days roll over so I'm trying to roll over as many days as possible for my wedding & honeymoon.
Who else is working on Christmas Eve?

My bank has yet to be seized by the government....so as of this moment I will be working on Christmas Eve and on December 26th.....
I plan to make the most of it and see what steals I can find at Century on the 26th.

Get this! FH has Jewish boses who gave them a Jewish holiday and took away New Years Eve in place of it (this just started this year). The majority of the workers are not Jewish (actually NONE of them are) and a lot of them work NIGHTS so they will have to be at work at midnight! I thought this was unfair and rediculous. If they want off now they have to use a vaca day. I have nothing against any religion... but as a whole more people celebrate New Years over a specific religious holidays.

I'm at the Bank of New York Mellon, I am on the new business side, foreign exchange and interest rate derivates....I basically make sure we have credit lines in place for our global markets customers and manage the risk in the portfolio.

mine i will be working christmas eve, christmas day, and possible new years day (if i can't find coverage)...booo to health care boo....Fh is working also christmas eve until 1pm

Our office is open on Xmas eve but the only ggod thing about that is they always do the floor party and everyone brings their kids. We get out at 3:00. They actually gave us a floating day this year where we can have either the day after xmas or the day after new years off. I chose the day after new years.

This is the first xmas eve in 10 years that I don't have to work! I used to work in a hair salon and we were always open on xmas eve. Now I work for a school district so I'm off!

I work for Capital One Bank as a Sr. Trainer. So basically I teach classes for new hires and people who were promoted to new positions... I teach them about what they are going to be doing. You need a lot of patience! I think your bank is more or an investment bank and mine is more retail. I'm kinda downtown but not downtown. I work in Union Square. I'm addicted to LIW now! It's crazy. The madness... I can't control myself or stop lookig at all the forums and posts etc. I'm beginning to think I might have a major problem! Must be that addictive personality of mine! I've never been on nycweddings.com... is that like liw?

It's the SAME SITE!!! I don't know what future SAINT thought of creating a mirror domain name....but my firewall does not block it. It's great. I get to see all of liweddings without typing in that blocked domain name.
I totally hear you on the addiction. I think we can all relate. I am running out of here to go swimming but will continue this when I get home
