Is having MY VENUE on their next show! I saw a little clip that had the name of my location - I am so excited to see it, though usually they just show the place for like 5 minutes and the rest is all drama.. . . tho I know this is probably pathetic I am all excited about this. .. but FH secretly LOVES the show so I know he will care. .

Re: Whose wedding is it anyway. . .
I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, but I have seen the commercials for it.
Is it like a spin off of Bridezillas?

well the brides on it don't have to be crazy so it's more about the planning and all. . they always have coordinators and such so it takes more that angle. . less Jerry Springer than Bridezillas

Re: Whose wedding is it anyway. . .
This is not a new show, it's been on for years. But it's one of my favorites!!! It's on the Style Network (Time Warner channel 118 in Queens, sorry, not sure what it is elsewhere). Sometimes they run marathons of it all day.... I DVR them and watch when FH goes on his business trips.... he'd never sit through an episode!
They usually show 2 weddings from start to finish, the whole planning process mostly done by professional wedding planners, keeping in mind the vision of the couples involved. They do all kinds of budgets and feature some really cool ideas. There was an episode a few years ago where a planner needed to stick to her couple's very tight budget, and she did a reddish-pink romantic boudoir theme that fit so well with the couple's ideas.... plus she bargain-hunted, and made the place look over-the-top on a really small budget. I love that DIY stuff!
There was also an episode done here in NY with some city council officials who met in college, or something like that. They got married at St. Patrick's and then had their reception in the Puck Building, a landmark bldg in the city..... I used to go there for a writing workshop, so it was interesting to see another floor and what could be done with a blank canvas like the wide open space they used for the reception room.

its been on for a long time now. I like it and better than the other shows. I cant stand to watch bridezilla anymore, they annoy me too much.

i remember the one at puck building.
I also know they've had some episodes that were at LI RH's, and other parts of NY. Remember the one with the crazy ex-wife and they changed the venue so she wouldnt know where it would be, and that was at astoria world manor
