I lost about 35 lbs in 7 months.... just a lot of firm DVDs, step aerobics with weights, a lot of veg, some chicken, and very little carb.... truthfully, it wasn't even that painful! It's just a matter of discipline... which I couldn't keep up with... but now I'm back in the routine, so I'm hoping to lose 5-10 before the big day!

Thanks, I have the urge but not the desire to follow thru. I know what it takes I have done it a whole bunch of times now!!! I seem to lack energy these days. Oh, well, I will be cleaning or working out after work!Either on and I will feel better!

you know what, I've discovered that it's almost impossible to fight the lack of discipline while in one of those phases... but one day, you'll snap out of it, and a diet/exercise routine will oncer again be easy to maintain.... just try to avoid gaining weight during this phase!

Re: Whose your role modeL
well since i am 5' short and have no boobs, no matter what I do there's no way in hell I will ever look like any of these chicks, and that's fine...haha...so i am going to say...
My role model is Me! haha...when i was training for my blackelt test! ...i was running 5 miles a day...training with a personal trainer 3 times a week...and taking my regular Taekwondo classes..i was thin, cut, & had lots of muscle..getting back there slowly
I keep pics of me at my best & worst nearby to keep me motivated since it's something i can realistically achieve
