Tell me about it. When we went to register, everything we found was too flowery, too ugly, or too gawdy....oh and too expensive.

Re: why

I don't know if it is ugly, but I am having a hell of a time looking for what is 'right' for me. I am driving myself nuts looking for the perfect bedding. Also, I have to take into acccount FH since I live with him. I am always asking myself if it is too 'girly'. Damn men!!!!

Re: why

actually, i thought this was a good idea:

make your own comforter, either from sheets or funky material from the garment district. the other day, an acquaintance of mine snagged some sheets on sale from century 21 and decided to bring it to her seamstress to have a custom made comforter.

sheets are sheets and i always buy them on sale, never full price. getting creative with the comforter sounds like a good idea to me!
