Definitely- someone told me when they went looking at places they told people they were looking just to throw a party & prices were much cheaper.

Re: Why?

Well my friend went to a place where the price was the same whether it was a wedding or a baby shower. It just depends. Limos are about the same price when i rented one for prom.

It does make me want to go into the wedding business since we just spend so much.

I was thinking this when I was making my hair appt for the wedding. What if I just told her I wanted an up do and that I wasn't a bride. It's ridiculous

Good point! Why do they charge more if your a bride or not, its still the same stuff IMO. Unless its for the extra time they spend inserting your headpiece and veil...who knows
