UGh Back to school night is tonight and my stomach is in knots. I hate this night. Normally (even when I am not PG) I vomit several times tonight from nerves. I don't know what I think will happen but I still hate it.
Sorry just needed some encouragement.

You can do it! I have to go to a few of these b/c I travel between 3 buildings! At least you only have to do it once! Before you know it, the evening will be over!

Tonight is my back to school night too! I've been teaching 6 years and I still get nervous too!!! Good Luck tonight!

I had mine last night and feel the same way as you!!! it went well like it always does but i still get knots in my stomach. a few of us teachers go out for cocktails after. im so tired today!

OMG I cannot even imagine it- mine doesn't end until 9:30 it takes a MINIMUM of 15 minutes to get out of the parking lot- so I will not get home to almost 10:30 as it is, I cannot imagine going out for cocktails or anything after that!! But I know what you mean I will be shot tomorrow.

ours was from 7:45-8:30, we were out the door by 8:40 and went to Ruynons up the block for two drinks. I was home by 10:45 sinc ei have the farthest drive! we dont stay out that late.. but were exhausted today

NOw that is sensible to be done by then!!!!! Plus I LOVE Ruyons. One thing I miss now that I moved further into Suffolk!!!

Mine is on Tuesday...the first one ever, since I'm a first year teacher. (Really second year...last year I was a leave replacement.) I'm very nervous. :

dont worry! remember...most of them are just there to put a face to a name and to see who their kids are talking about. they may be nervous too you know....hoping that you like their kid!

My back to school night went well!!! My parents were great especially because I have a ton of returning parents that I am on the 2,3, or even 4th child in the family. So many were coming up to congratulate me on my marriage or the house. Only 3 parents asked when I was due!!
The bad thing was that one parent went off on the French teacher that shares my room and made her cry
