I'm in the process of ordering invitations and I'm getting panick attacks. It's not nerves about getting married, but rather the fact that once the form is submitted it's out of my hands and in the hands of others who don't know or care about me & FH.
Even though I'm ordering through a real person rather than a website, I'm afraid the printing folks will make mistakes. The invitation vendor assured me that if I order the proof, the company will correct the invites as many times as needed until they get it right...but I'm still feeling panicky...is it just me??

i was nervous too and actually went through 3 sets of proofs before approving it (there were no errors but i tweaked layout and font size etc)
as long as you can get a proof you dont need to worry. show it to a lot of people and post it here if you want and we will check it for you as well
invitations were my most stressful decision

It really is only a piece of paper. With computers, editing is simple. It will be fine.

I was panic stricken too...thinking I MESSED something up! I didnt ever see a proof, just typed what I wanted and thats it!!!!
They were fine and they will fix if it was Their mistake

i had problems with my inve..the color was off and not exactly what i had expected..but i just said whatever and sent them anyways

i think ordering invites is when i became any version of bridezilla and all i did was get a basic one from party city the guy was not too knowledgeable about what i should put and he convinced me not to get a proof in the end everything was fine there are some things i am not sure about but everyone is gonna throw them out anyway and they do overall look very nice with no spelling errors.

I am having the same problem with getting my invites done!! Finally yesterday I emailed the last info over!! I say take a deep breath & just do it!!

Don't worry, everything will be fine. Especially since you are going through a real person instead of through the internet...they are professionals and know what they are doing. As long as you have approved the final proof, they should be responsible if any mistakes are made. I was nervous too, but everything was perfectly fine.

yea it really helps - and pays to order that proof...I was calling my invite company all the time, and they were very helpful -
Make sure when you pick them up or when they are delivered that you go through everything - i had a slight problem and they fixed it right away. Ihad good communication with them and the repore was nice so i felt taken care of - and i was!
