I am about to call NRC to ask them to change my CH.....I have no idea why I am nervous!?!??
We are having a Sunday wedding.....the church is at 3, and a typical greek ceremony is about 45 - 1hr....so after the whole greeting line and what not, we should be arriving at NRC around 430/445.....our CH starts at 6....I really don't want our guests just standing around for an hour/hour and a half so I want to call and ask them if they can start the CH and make it 5:30 - 6: 30 and then the party from 6:30 - 11:00.....
The way it is now, CH is 6 - 7 and then 7 - 1130....if the guests come early, they will serve champagne and strawberries.....
They are getting so much $ that I shouldn't be nervous, yet I am!! Do you think switching to 5:30 is better???
Does anyone else feel this way when they call their BM to change or ask something!?? Am I nuts?

I don't think you should be nervous, and it does seem like 5:30 would be better. But if they have a wedding before yours, there could be a problem.

I had the same concern so we started our CH at 6:30 instead of 7, but we just extended it for half hour instead of changing all the times around... so now instead of 7 to 8, our CH is 6:30 till 8... an hour and a half instead of an hour....this also allows peopel extra time to get there..... just an idea

We were thinking of that but being that it is on a Sunday, we didn't want people leaving early and missing the Vienneese also.....

It might be a good idea to move up your CH to 5:30 OR see if NRC can accommodate your early guests with more than just champagne (if you can't move the CH up).

yeah i know, i think im being paranoid...I have picked up the phone 3x and dialed the first 3 numbers of NRC and hung up........ehhhhhhh maybe I should ask FH to do this LOL

Has your Mom been involved at all with booking the RH? Ask her to do it! Haha, Moms have a way of getting these things done because they've done it so many times before!

Ok so I just got off the phone with them - it took me 2 hours to call them for a 2 minute convo. The call wasn't helpful!! I asked to move the CH to 530 instead of 6 and she said, as of right now, there is nothing in the morning for that day, but they have to leave it open incase a christening or wedding takes the morning spot - So basically, the answer is no because I can't wait until 2 months before to get my invites that have 6:00 written on them......ehhhhhhhhhhhh I guess it will have to stay at 6....maybe I will move my church to 330 instead of 3 so that we will save the 30 min there?
