Why am I stressing? A little long...

Okay, so we finally went to order BM dresses on Saturday and it went very well- aside being 1/2 hour late b/c of traffic. Anyway, so we are standing around waiting to finish paperwork and there are a few people trying on gowns in the shop, one them happened to come out with the gown I ordered. So anyway, it didn't look good on her at all- (not to be mean or anything.) So, I started freaking out like- what if I look like that!

Then one of my BMs is like- it has to much stuff going on (the dress has beadwork on the top). And now I'm thinking that it looks to dark (I ordered the sample which is offwhite)

I found the perfect flowergirl dress to go with it but I don't want to order it in off white- I just love flowergirl dresses in white- ARGHHHHHHH!

Why am I freaking out? I loved it soooo much but now I am having doubts- besides now they say the dress is in and the wedding is only 5 months away!!!!!

Is this just a part of prewedding jitters?

Don't worry! I think it is very common for us not to like our dress. The same thing happened to me- but the opposite. My dress is very simple and not big or anything, and I was thinking maybe it didn't look 'Bridal' enough. Just remember there is a reason you fell in love with the dress in teh first place.


As to the dress on someone else, I saw a dress in the store that looked gorgeous on one girl. I tried it on and it looked awful on me (Even my mom said so). Not every dress looks good on everyone. The world would be very boring if that was the case.

You are going to be fine. Lots of us are stressing out. Its totally normal.
