my fh doesnt really have any interest in this wedding whatsoever and today he bought my dress and saw it (not on me of course im in florida, he's in ny) and i asked if he liked it he says 'its ok, its a dress' what the f is wrong with him?? i was crying for like 20 minutes. thats not what i wanna hear about my WEDDING DRESS!! the only dress to matter to me my whole life. i wanna look great on my wedding day but i have a feeling he wont even tell me i look pretty. he forgets what compliments are. :(

I think is laid back approach is more a less a defense mechanism for his high stress level. From reading from previous posts he seems stressed.
men typically do not give a crap about anything regarding planning and details and yes even a dress. My fh is pretty much a .. yes its fine or no. I don't get anymore description and honestly sometimes its best not to have it. IF you love and if you feel pretty in it then don't worry. When the day comes he will care and probably cry is eyes out.

Guys don't realize how important this stuff is to us. Think about it-- he has to give minimal thought to his outfit, its a tux. plain and simple-- yeah sure there are different styles, but guys don't sweat it like we do.... He was unthoughtful, but I am sure he didn't mean to hurt you.
He will be floored when he sees the dress on you the day of your wedding.....The dress always looks different on then on a hanger. Remenber you picked it because you love dit-- and so will he.
