why are guys so dumb? sorry looong...

i have been stressing non-stop about $$ issues, and it's gotten worse since we got our apartment, i am so worried that we won't be able to afford the wedding! so every now and then i tell FH how i feel and he always says, don't worry, it will all work out, we will be fine, etc... he is planning on selling 2 cars he has, which should help (don't ask - he was a collector) but neither one is even listed online yet... and for the past couple of days he has been unusually quiet and sullen and he claims nothing is wrong. of course i assume it's me but i find out this morning that he is 'just stressed,' and finally just now he tells me he is stressed about $$!!! are you kidding me?? thanks for leaving me hanging all this time and blowing off my own worries like they were nothing... but you can give me an attitude and act weird and i'm supposed to just let it slide?? no f-ing way buddy!

the worst part is i am not really mad, but sad. i feel isolated and alone, like he's leading me to think i am stressing for no reason, but then keeping his own worries inside. aren't we supposed to be a team and in this thing together?? we are so having a long talk later and i don't even care if i cry in front of him this is sooo frustrating...

I'm sry! He probably kept it to himself so that you didn't worry more. He just wanted to reassure you that everything would be fine. But now that you know he is worrying you are probably going to stress out about it more! You should talk to him and tell him how you feel.

i know that is probably true but it just makes me more frustrated because i have to talk about everything and he is just like his dad - he NEVER talks.

my FH is the EXACT same way... he keeps everything bottled up... and it's like pulling teeth getting him to talk about things... but he's getting better! You just have to make sure that you don't give up on him... keep talking to him and he will eventually come around!

I feel your pain....FH and I just had it out about this last weekend (at someone else's wedding no less- we were quiet about it)

I got upset because he started smoking again (he quit in January!!) He told me its because he's stressed! Um, hello! I'm going to be your wife- TALK to me!!! I have no problem venting to him! Besides- I don't have a vice- such as smoking- to help me relax...all I can do is CRY! (And believe me I do- then he says I'm crying over nothing!)

Grrr...they just don't get it sometimes....

I'm the opposite - I keep everything inside .
I guess I am just used to being on my own and taking care of my own stuff.
I have to learn how to share my feelings and concerns, and the dumb part is, FH knows I do this and gets pissed at me. Do you think I would learn from this ?
