Why are tiaras sooo cheap on ebay??

I want to get a Swarovski Tiara and the ones in my bridal shop are like $200+. So I decided to look on Ebay....and they are CHEAP, like $25?!?!

Has anyone bought one on Ebay?? Are these flimsy knockoff ones??

they're probably not swarovski. Maybe another type of crystal, that would explain why. Also some people sell the ones theyve worn already so they are willing to sell it for less

does it say what type of crystals they are?

i got my tiara from the bridal location i ordered my dress from .. they had stickers like $259 but if i bought the 'sample' off the rack it was $99.. I would rather see it and touch it before i would spend lots of money on it.. see if you can buy a sample in store for a discounted price

They say that they are swarovski. I just dont trust it!

I've often wondered this myself- i'm glad i'm not the only one.
I was thinking of doing that too, but i'd like to feel the quality of it too. I've seen them at michaels, AC moore and even WalMart has some nice ones too!!! (Who knew they had a wedding supply isle?))) They're priced anywhere from $30- $50. which isn't bad when you're on a budget.
