I see a lot on this chat board about dresses, shoes, makeup, photgraphy, videos, flowers, and jewlery....but I'm curious to know why, indeed everyone is getting married.
My answer is b/c after living 32 years in a fun but hard world, I've found someone who is truly my partner. He's warm, empathetic, sexy, intellectually and physically stimulating, kind, bright, and my best friend. What is everyone else going to tell their FH on their wedding day?

I am sure that everyone feels the same way and most people would not get married if they didnt feel that way. However, we all have our visions and dreams of what we want our wedding day to be like and we do get caught up in the other aspects of the wedding day.

That's what FH's disgruntled, divorced Aunt always asks me: 'why are you getting married??!!!' So I smugly answer 'b/c I CAN ' hahaha .... but seriously:
Because I love him, he loves me and we respect each other. We have almost all of the same values, goals and morals... We have a wonderful and affectionate, loving relationship. We are each other's best friends and I can't imagine life without him- he is so good to me. I like the idea of marriage because it is me giving myself to him completely and vice-versa which I think is touching and shows dedication-- it shows just how much we care for one another.

because i know that if you are lucky enough to find a man that is your best friend, love of your life, shoulder to cry on, hand to hold, personal cheerleader and strength to your weakness- you hold on to that as tight as you can and never let go!!!

Because I also have grown with this man and we have been through some really tough times together. It is now our time to celebrate each other in front of everyone and show how much we are in love. He completes me I dont know what I would do without him. It is so great to find that in a world like we live in today. Someone who knows me and I know him. Someone who can feel what Im feeling and always brighten up my darkest days. Someone to share my life with.

Because ever since I met him 7 years ago he has always been understanding about EVERYTHING. He has always treated me right, and treated my daughter right as well. He never has, nor will he ever look at her as 'Danny's kid' (my ex-BF) She is my kid, and will become his step-daughter and he understands and accepts that. He has been there for me throughout a LOT of CRAP and he has NEVER looked or walked the other way.
Besides the fact that I LOVE him with all my heart and soul.

Because he's the best person I've ever met and he (I know it's cheesy) completes me! He's stuck by my side through so much and has never denied me anything I've needed, especially emotionally. I love him to death and couldn't imagine a day without him in my life. Now I miss him!

He loves me for who I am and I love him for who he is. We support each other when either one of us is up or down, when times are good and when times are rough. We talk to each other about our relationship, and the goals we have for the future together. He is an amazing man and I look forward to growing old with him...

because I've found someone that encapulates everything I've ever imagined I would find in a husband. He is loving, considerate, , intelligent, hard working and honest. I trust him with all of my heart, and I know he will be an amazing partner and father. More than that, he is my best friend, and after over 5 years of being together I know in my heart that it's time for him to become my family.

we are getting married because he is my best friend as well as my partner. I can't picture myself with anyone else. We get along so well and I still get that warm fuzzy feeling inside when we hug after all this time. We have been through so much and have made it through. I have the feeling we can make it through anything. I truly and genuinely love him

Because God has brought me the one man that he made for me. He is the one I have visioned a long time ago. He is my everything, my confident and my best friend. I could not have been blessed with a better man. God provides in the best ways. I am getting married because I have found my true love.
