WHY ARE YOU WAITING SO LONG

I hate when I get asked this question. I should tell them to check out the 2007 LIW board and look at how much we are spending. Then maybe people will stop asking why are we waiting. Money doesn't grow on trees and I don't have $$$$ under my mattress. ARGGG!!!!
Aren't people annoying???!!!

I KNOW RIGHT!!!

Its not like its THAT FAR AWAY!!! I don't think that I could plan everything as detailed as I want it to be if I rushed and had it next year!!!

OMG its so true. Before we even postponed and were having a sept 2006 wedding people were still saying why so far away. Um...well I'd like to save more and have a great cushion in the bank so we can get a house and have a great wedding.

Then we found out FH needs oral surgery so we had to push it back few months, but I didnt want to get married when its cold so May 07 was our next choice. If I only had a dollar for everytime I hear 'Oh its so far away, I could never wait that long...'

its true.. as if we wouldn't get married tomorrow if there weren't good reasong to wait.. my brother's getting married in June '06, so i have to wait until after that... with other stuff, we decided to do it in March '07.... could you imagine my brother and his future wife if i was like ya know what we're just gonna go ahead and jump in front of you to get married. lol... then people would be talking about how horrible a person i am! Just goes to show, ya can't win!

I hate that too .....well you know what you should wip out your check book cut me 50K and I will get married in a couple weeks how about that!

That is my all time HATED question!!! I tell them I would get married tomorrow if everyone would chip in and help pay!! Youd be surprised how they all shut up then!!!

I hate when they ask me that. I tell them well if you pay all my expenses i will get married tomorrow if u want. but until then this is the best time for us, and plus it is no one's business. people are really nosy..

And I thought it was just me. As soon as I say I'm getting married May 27, they always expect me to say 2006. Then when I say 2007 they get this look on their faces like I am crazy. It's really starting to get on my last nerve.

I always say they are more than welcome to donate to the wedding fund. I just may start handing out deposit slips!

we are wating due to school and money like everyone too... people always say why so long but if they want to pay ill do it tomorrow!!

FH and i have had a hall already for nearly 8 months...so that q. and confusing look i used to get when i told them our wedding date, is finally starting to die down. you are where i was coming on nearly a year ago! so i know how you feel.

i used to get sooooo angry at those idiots who asked that question....and finally i just told some of them to just shove their opinion where the sun don't shine!!

FH and myself are lower middle class...if that! LOL we are having a kind of low key, cheap wedding compared to those who go all out with 50-75K weddings. (our budget is less than $18K i think for everything)...and we had to wait 2 yrs. just for that!!! the questions wil eventually die down a bit...until them just ignore them and smile that you are gonna be a bride.
