the precana is honestly so stupid - FH and I just laugh but whatever. the foccus test is a load of crap too - but they think its so important. Our host couples are really nice though.

reviews from brides married at saint agnes???
You probably won't see many because St. Agnes will only do weddings for 'their girls' (or grooms) and those are their words not mine.
It is a beautiful church -- I am getting married at St. Raymond's the next parish over.
Good for you for doing RCIA -- my FH starts his classes on Tuesday!

the woman there tried to give me a hard time because FH and I are NOT parish members there, but we spoke directly with the priest who we met at my grandmothers funeral mass and he was very accomodating and we were told we could get married there.

Re: why aren't there any...
Thanks! technically I was not a parish member either but FH's parents were married there and FSIL was also married there...I just called and said 'i'm not a prishoner yet but I'll be moving to the area soon and I hope to be a parishoner, its very important we get married there.
I was baptised catholic but never recieved communion or confirmation. I actually like my RCIA class...it's like free spiritual therapy. The only thing I'm still not used to about church is all the singing...I'm still not a fan of all the singing.

My FH is Protestant Baptist -- but he was never baptised. I have been going to church my whole life and still am not a fan of the singing! My FH still can't get over all of the sitting, Knelling and standing -- he says it like a work out hahahah!

I didn't even try there because so many people I know personally had issues with them. Glad you guys were able to 'beat the system' hahah!
