Its tough out there.
Keep trying. Check Monster.com, careerbuilder.com, or maybe you can even do temp work somewhere.

I hear you! Every time I start a new job, I soon dislike and then start thinking the last one wasn't so bad (even though when I was in that one I was unhappy as well!)

i have had every job there is out there...retail, camp counselor, bartender, receptionist/admin asst, accounting, food service, HR....there is not a 'fun' or 'likeable' job out there.
if you find one lemme know! there are interesting jobs but they don't pay well enough to live in nyc/li.
