I know everyone has the same complaint, but I never understood it until I experienced it. It is absolutely so frustrating. We over invited our room by 40 people. We have about 50 people on our B list. We are up to 152 people and still have about 50 to respond. By my guess, at least 20 will be no's. I really wish I could invite some of the B list people, but now the RSVP date is June 10th and I'll feel like a jerk. FH doesn't care and wants to invite some other friends anyway!

just do it people understand ...... I know the frustration..ppl stink sometimes ..just put the little card w/ the stamp in the mailbox how hard could that be????

I agree! By the way, most of the people are on the boy's side of the family!

I know exactly! We still have 6 days, but I do not forsee them coming in. I have begun to email people to at the very least make sure they received the invite in the mail!

Plus, our hotel block only has 5 rooms left! We contracted for 35 and had to push it up to 40 since we have so many OOT people!

I'm sure I'm being a bit dramatic, today has been very stressful! But, it is just so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went through this as well 40 ppl didn't reply until AFTER the RSVP date (I had to call than they would send it in) AND at least 10 the week of the wedding and I had a number of ppl even calling to say they are coming with someone that totally wasn't even on the invite neice once removed ppl I never met or knew of. And changing what they wrote on the RSVP, at the end I was so frusterated, I made a cut off for the placecards and anything after that I had to simply chalk it up to no seating for you! Sorry but I found it so rude but it happens I don't understand it! These are adults no less most of them married, don't they know what its like? ...
